Safe Environment

Introduction

As we build the Culture of Life, it is our duty to protect the more innocent of us, including children and vulnerable adults. Following the example of the Diocese of Dallas and the USCCB, Ablaze for Life has created a Safe Environment program to ensure that we are not only protecting the least of us, but also modeling Christ for them.

Ablaze for Life Safe Environment Policy (Adopted March 2024)

Who needs to be cleared?

Ablaze for Life Staff and Volunteers (18+) must be cleared.

Parents attending events with their families do not have to be cleared.

What if I am already cleared through my home parish or another organization?

Please let us know! We are able to accept clearance from certain outside organizations. If your organization is not on our list, we will review their policies and determine if we can accept their clearance or not.

If you are cleared through the Diocese of Dallas or Fort Worth, we can accept that clearance!

How to Be Cleared
  1. Submit a New Volunteer Form
  2. If you are cleared through another organization: Our Safe Environment Manager will contact that organization to obtain proof.
  3. If you are not cleared through another organization: Our Safe Environment Manager will contact you with the next steps.
