Dear Friends,
I have been accepted to enter the Marians of the Immaculate Conception and will enter the postulancy on July 1st. I am excited to start this path of formation towards the priesthood and look forward to how the Lord will use me. Every yes involves having to say no to something else that is good. One of the things I will have to give up is serving on the Board of Directors for Ablaze for Life.
Ablaze for Life is a pro-life organization based in North Texas that empowers and educates Catholic families and youth in making a difference in building a culture of life. Our flagship program is a summer camp for high school students called Pro-Life Experience (a continuation of the Pro-Life Boot Camp program of the Catholic Pro-Life Community).
As I leave leadership I want to advance the future success of Ablaze for Life. Connecting with those of you who also believe in building a culture of life is critical to advancing our shared mission.
As a way of encouraging you to connect with Ablaze for Life I am challenging you to support our "Cover our Camp Staff" campaign that will support the volunteer staff who make the camp possible. This campaign offers an opportunity to pray for our volunteer staff and reduce the fees required for them to volunteer.
