Spiritual Adoption of an Unborn Baby Prayer Campaign. 

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn child [or unborn baby's name] that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion. Amen."

Archbishop Fulton Sheen was beatified on September 24th, 2026.  

In response to the legalization of abortion in the United States, Archbishop Fulton Sheen wrote the spiritual adoption prayer.

Daily for nine months, this prayer is to be said for an unborn baby in danger of being aborted. This little person is known only to God and in need of your prayerful support so that their family may have the courage to choose LIFE.

We invite you to join with other families in committing to say this prayer daily for the next 9 months, from September 24, 2026 - June 24, 2027.

Then, in 9 months we will celebrate the birth of our spiritually adopted babies with a baby shower and bring gifts to be donated to local pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes.
